Masakal — dispatch SaaS for waste-haul trucks
Masakal is a logistics SaaS for the waste-haulage industry — a platform that coordinates trucks, drivers, and jobs in real time.
What we built
Three connected surfaces: a SaaS platform for the operator, a driver app for the road, and an admin dashboard for oversight. The driver app integrates the Waze SDK for live routing; the backend runs on Node.js and AWS. Built in React Native so one codebase serves both mobile platforms without slowing the roadmap.
The result
Dispatch that used to live on phone calls and spreadsheets now runs through one system — jobs assigned, routes optimised, status visible to the office as it happens. Masakal is also an OpsAgents tenant, which keeps us close to how the product grows.
How they built it with Autopilot
When Masakal needed a new set of features fast, the work went through OpsAgents Autopilot — MSApps’ AI dev team that works your existing board instead of a new one. Masakal’s side wrote the specs as tickets; Autopilot picked up each ticket and implemented it — writing the code and opening a pull request per card — while a person kept sole merge authority, reviewing and approving every change before it shipped. Nothing reached production unreviewed.
The result: a feature set first estimated at 5–7 weeks shipped in about 3 weeks — roughly half the time, with no loss of control over what went live.
